Thank you for visiting the new ZaireBlue.com! We are proud to announce that ZaireBlue.com is under the new ownership and operation of Brian M. Scott. Brian has been involved in the aquarium industry since 1991. His titles have ranged from pet shop clerk to master breeder to editor and author. Since the age of six Brian has maintained aquariums, most of which housed cichlids. His experiences keeping cichlids, especially African cichlids, have proven vital to his success as an author and biologist.

Brian earned his bachelors degree from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 2001, where he majored in Biology and minored in Marine Sciences. He has authored or co-authored five aquarium-related books, and has written more than 100 aquarium-related articles. His works have been published in various popular aquarium journals such as Tropical Fish Hobbyist Magazine, Cichlid News Magazine, and the Buntbarsche Bulletin. Brian’s work can be read each month in his column "Top of the Food Chain" in Tropical Fish Hobbyist Magazine.

Brian is dedicated to providing top-quality information on the highly sought after Zaire blue "frontosa" and other cichlid species.
